Review: Lee Stafford Sea SaLT Mud Mask

Sea SaLT Mud Mask & CoCo LoCo Range

As you’ve seen from my previous post’s I’ve really been getting into my skincare and trying to stick with a routine. It’s just recently that I decided I need to start doing the same for my hair as my hair is definitely in need of some TLC right now.  I’ve used the Lee Stafford CoCo LoCo range before,  I normally use that range when I go on holiday as I find the coconut keeps my hair nourished whilst in the sun. So I decided to try the Sea SaLT Mud Mask to give my hair some dirty ol loving.

First off, What is it?

The Sea SaLT Mud Mask, is a hair mask filled with minerals, salts and algaes to enrich, soothe and moisturise your hair. It is perfect for that pampering day or evening to bring some life back into your hair.

How to use it?

After shampooing and rinsing it out. Smother a handful on your hair and massage evenly from root to tip. Let is soak in and work it’s magic for five minutes and then wash off and finish with conditioning as usual. If you are looking for that extra loving, after you have applied the hair mask you can wrap your hair up in a towel and leave it in for 30 minutes and wash it out to enjoy soft, moisturised and deeply cleansed hair & scalp.

My thoughts

As soon as you twist off the lid the smell hits you. It smells gorgeous (nearly good enough to eat, but please don’t do that). But sometimes I find some hair masks or deep conditioners I have previously used smell awful this one is the complete opposite, it smells divine. I used my CoCo LoCo shampoo, and then scooped an egg sized amount in my hand and lathered it through my hair. You can feel the salts within the mask and it feels bit like body scrub so it has a nice texture. After rinsing it off and finishing off with conditioning my hair. My hair has never felt so soft. I think it’s a great product to add to a relaxing / pamper routine. Additionally, during Christmas time I tend to use a lot of heat on my hair because of Christmas parties so I’ll definitely be using for that long 30 minute TLC mask then to keep it cleansed and soft throughout the festive hair time.
